A day planner made specifically for the needs of busy photographers? Yes, please. That was my reaction when I learned about Pen to Paper Agendas. These high-quality planners designed just for photographers and bloggers are the perfect tool for keeping us organized, efficient, and productive, all while living up to our high standards for beautiful design.
There are several things I really love about this planner. It is super heavy-duty, and spiral bound with a thick matte cover and metal corners. At 8 x 10 inches, there’s plenty of space to include everything I want on a single page. It is also beautifully minimalist and simple in design, something I really value. The outside has modern black and white stripes, the inside cover features little black dots on white, and the fonts and simple gray text color inside are both calming and sophisticated. I’m of the opinion that office supplies (especially ones that you use every day) should be aesthetically pleasing so that you enjoy using them. Both fashion and function are must haves for a product as important as a daily planner.
What I love most about this planner is that it is designed specifically for me, a photographer, blogger, and mom. Each day has a space to write your appointments for the day, to-do list, social media checklist, photo shoot details, editing/blogging goals, and inspirations/remember this (perfect for photo ideas and concepts or remembering the funny things our kids say!). There is also a two-page layout showing a whole month so you can see the big picture at a glance. There are extra pages for notes that will certainly come in handy. I love the inspirational quotes that pop up on random pages, too. There is a movable plastic page divider that makes it easy to find your place in the book.
Since I received my Pen to Paper Agenda, it’s been a main fixture on my desk. I love that I can sit down (away from my computer) each evening to reflect on what I accomplished during the day and plan my commitments and goals for the following day. This agenda helps keep me productive while also being so enjoyable to use. The agendas come in black/white or black/white/pink color combinations and retail for $84.
