Spotlight on the Ketti Schoolgirl Camera Bag

camera bags for photographers

I recently had the opportunity to give the Schoolgirl Camera Bag by Ketti a test run. I had been eyeing it ever since it was released, and it certainly did not disappoint.

First Impressions. The Schoolgirl is a professional looking bag that is deceptively small. It has a low profile when being carried, but it holds a lot!

Size. Compared to other similar camera bags, this one is pretty small. It’s 12” wide and 9” tall, and weighs about 2.4 lbs.

Construction Materials. The outside of the bag is made of genuine leather and the inside is a fun polka dot cotton material – business on the outside, and fun on the inside!

Available Colors. The Schoolgirl is currently available in Electric Blue, Moss, Caramel, and Dijon (exclusively available in the Click & Company Store).

Pockets and Dividers. On the back of the bag, there’s one magnetic-closure pocket. Inside the bag, there is a zip pocket, two slip pockets (perfect for a phone, gum, cleaning cloth, etc.), and a padded pocket for a tablet. The bag closes with a turn-lock fastener and two magnetic closures that keep the flap closed and secure. It also has two removable/reconfigurable padded dividers that attach with velcro to the inner walls of the bag.

What Fits. The Schoolgirl can comfortably hold a professional DSLR camera with small lens attached, additional small lens, wallet, keys, and other small necessities like lens cleaner, lip gloss, and cell phone. The tablet pocket can be used when a large camera body isn’t taking up the majority of the space in the purse.

Ways to Carry. I personally love the bag’s top handle. It allows me to carry the bag by hand or in the crook of my arm. There’s also an adjustable strap that allows the bag to the carried over the shoulder or crossbody. I also love that it can be just a purse when not being used as a camera bag. All of the dividers can be removed for maximum storage options.

The Ketti Schoolgirl is a stylish camera bag and the perfect size for what I carry around day-to-day. I think the hardest decision will be deciding which color to get!
