Hi Kat,

I just learned about this company and thought I’d post it here for you as a resource. You mail all your child’s artwork and they MAKE a book of it! Pretty awesome and elevates a few steps if you didn’t want to DIY: https://www.plumprint.com/

I love that! Knowing what makes you tick is so important. Oh, about your daughter’s artwork – check out this article about how to create wall art with your kids’ artwork by Melissa Stottmann over at Clickin Moms https://www.clickinmoms.com/blog/diy-creating-wall-art-with-your-kids-artwork/ I think scrapping booking the artwork would be a really fun project and a great way to tidy it all up. 🙂 But yea, kids love to hoard I know that firsthand too. lol

So our home is crazy. Most is her art that I can’t seem to get rid of and she can’t part with any stuffed animals or dolls!

Yaaaasss! I love hearing this friend. I think it really shows in your work too. You’re rockin it lady! I feel so motivated hearing from others how minimalism (regardless of how ridged) uplifts them – like maybe I should do another purge lol. It’s addicting.

Yes! I completely agree. It feels revitalizing every time I walk into my house. A home is a sanctuary but also a place that cultivates energy – good or bad. I think we can all do a better job getting rid of our clutter so we can focus more on what’s important – like family, creativity and positivity.

I’ve always been a bit of a minimalist but have gotten pretty hard-core with the movement within the last year. It’s so freeing to get rid of both the physical + mental clutter and it’s definitely helped me tremendously with my business. Thank you so much for sharing your insight! XOXO

So refreshing to hear how a minimalist approach to the home can permeate so many other facets of one’s life – especially when working to hone a unique perspective in a creative field such as photography. There’s no better fuel for productive creativity than an unfettered mind and an uncluttered work space!
